Strange.... A similar glitch happened earlier on this year when I couldn't post on any blogger account either.

I am copying and pasting your comments now and hope they show up:

"In answer to Shaun, yes mate! The more Hammer books the better, I recall in the 1970s there was one book about Hammer, and nothing else - now there is a wealth of them, some good some bad. I will agree though that some are a bit of a one trick pony, and seem to cover the same ground over and again. The locations book sounds a good bet too, and I think this book is a great idea because it's an area of Hammer that gets little coverage. There is plenty of books about Hammer's ''Gothics'', but very little about their SF & Fantasy output.

P.s Love your Blog!

:-)"Holger Haasehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13359071414296803464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6309429033992855414.post-57965257299445871512010-11-12T22:42:05.547+00:002010-11-12T22:42:05.547+00:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11675921013314530527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6309429033992855414.post-8067451324898722202010-11-12T22:30:02.233+00:002010-11-12T22:30:02.233+00:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11675921013314530527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6309429033992855414.post-16757691320752629662010-11-12T22:26:52.429+00:002010-11-12T22:26:52.429+00:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11675921013314530527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6309429033992855414.post-71599398556835647162010-11-09T16:50:26.038+00:002010-11-09T16:50:26.038+00:00Oh, I agree, that Exclusive book is indeed for a s...Oh, I agree, that Exclusive book is indeed for a small audience that may just be as small as Me, Myself and I. ;-)

I know I am a hopeless completist.

No, there hasn't been anything in depth about the locations outside of a few references to Black Park. I personally probably wouldnt buy a book on Exclusive Films, because the films themselves only hold limited interest. I'm not sure how such a book would be promoted. Has there not been anything on Hammer locations? That surprises me a little.Shaun Anderson [The Celluloid Highway]https://www.blogger.com/profile/18066744649878418309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6309429033992855414.post-64585643602656613612010-11-09T14:13:32.635+00:002010-11-09T14:13:32.635+00:00I kinda know where you're coming from and pers...I kinda know where you're coming from and personally don't think another overall Hammer Studio History approach is needed. (Sorry, Ingrid Pitt.) There are still, however, niches that are worth exploring: the Exclusive films, the locations etc.
And I am a sucker for visuals as well and would really love to see a Hammer collectible book dedicated not just to the posters but to still, lobby cards, press and other promotional material.
Should have followed your blog ages ago. :-)Holger Haasehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13359071414296803464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6309429033992855414.post-1602464483615533632010-11-09T13:45:04.293+00:002010-11-09T13:45:04.293+00:00But it has been covered quite extensively in Hamme...But it has been covered quite extensively in Hammer overviews. I read Hallenbeck's previous volume on Hammer Vampires, and although it was well written and entertaining, it didn't say anything that made me sit up and take notice. I've noticed a lot of recent Hammer books are going the way of emphasising visuals (Hammer Glamour, The Art of Hammer), that to me is symptomatic of the fact that there is little more to be said...thanks for following my blog Holger, much appreciated.Shaun Anderson [The Celluloid Highway]https://www.blogger.com/profile/18066744649878418309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6309429033992855414.post-17412852489915248012010-11-08T22:27:33.988+00:002010-11-08T22:27:33.988+00:00I am surprised how many new areas some of those bo...I am surprised how many new areas some of those book actually do cover.
