Hi Holger; great list! And great to see the tide turning on AD 1972!
I agree with you about the excellence of the bit where the aeroplane appears and the theme music kicks in (though it's a shame they pan up from the ruined modern Van Helsing grave and not the pristine 1872 one.)
I also love the bit where the speeded up version of the theme accompanies Cushing's mad dash round London.
And the shots of Christopher Lee's face coming out of the shadows as he follows Cushing up the spiral staircase at the end are, for my money, as creepy as he ever was in the role.
But I also like Satanic Rites, and I'm not sold on Prince of Darkness being better than Dracula...
And speaking as the world's only fan of Vengeance of She I have a confession: I've never actually seen She...
I can actually understand being a fan of VENGEANCE OF SHE. But never having seen SHE?!? What planet are you living on? (Shakes head in disbelief.)
