To the Devil.... A Daughter (1975)

And speaking of scans.....

Here are some German lobby cards for To the Devil.... A Daughter. The German title Die Braut des Satans translates as "The Devil's Bride". Bride... Daughter... Same Difference.

Incidentally both Rasputin and this film are movies that I am going to (re)watch tonight. No time to write much about them, hence this lazy approach to blogging with my scans.

Hope you like them.

Thanks Holger. It's a film I actually enjoy - rushed ending and all. Quite creepy. Some people can't stand it :-)

Glad I am not the only one. Incidentally I finally figured out how to scan the other few lobby cards from my set. It was embarrassingly simple once I had my Eureka moment and figured out what was wrong.

Just saw this one last night! As you know I have an open mind to everything cult (movies, not satanic ones) but this movies was really as you would call it "eine Zumutung"! The LC give the impression of another Exocist movie, which was the intend, but the finished product is just horrible as a movie! Complete nonsense! And real blasphemy to compare the movie with in the Exorcist and Rosemary's Baby in the trailer! :0-/

Ha, Mirko, this is actually one of the later Hammers that I enjoyed the most. I find it pretty unsettling in places (e.g. the birth scene), an experience that is highly unusual for Hammer. I really quite like it and - dare I say it - favour it to THE EXORCIST, a film that I could never quite take to. (Watched it once in the cinema when I was 15 and was relentlessy bored to pieces.) Definitely not as good as ROSEMARY'S BABY.
